dataLog - Checkpoints

Each checkpoint has a number, identifying its location. A reliable checkpoint is essential to collect accurate data. There are two technology options:

Discrete low cost copy-protected infrared barcode checkpoints and the maintenance free proximity checkpoints. Proximity reading definetly reduces working expenses.

KSC 30

12.11 (sortval)
This small, inconspicuous checkpoint uses a microchip for identification. The KSC can be read without contact at a distance of up to 20 mm. The microchip is passive and needs no external power supply. The checkpoints can be mounted with industrial adhesive or screws.

The microchip is protected by a durable housing and is designed to withstand temperature changes, weather, dirt and any other environmental influences.
  • KSC30, proximity checkpoint
  • KSC30-AE, double proximity checkpoint for start and stop

KSB/KSI/KSI P

12.21 (sortval)
Two barcode checkpoints options for great flexibility. Choose a type suitable for the application, with or with out copy protection, or a durable checkpoint suitable for outdoor use. Barcode checkpoint technology is economical and unobtrusive.
  • KSI – a secure self-adhesive barcode checkpoint concealed under a durable opaque foil, which prevents photocopying, but is transparent to infrared light of the data collector. This checkpoint self-destructs if removal is attempted.
  • KSI-P – a durable barcode checkpoint encapsulated in a plastic housing, which is transparent to infrared light. Suitable for indoor and outdoor use.

Art.No. / Variants:

  • 03031.000 KSI, IR-barcode checkpoint
  • 03048.000 KSI-P, IR-barcode checkpoint
